My experience with this company was to purchase an accessible van for my individual needs based on my disability.  Since one week after the purchase was complete, I've had nothing but bad luck with any/all of them that work for Warren Agor.

There have been several instances when my van needed repairs made and it's always been a hassle to get the job complete and properly.  They are not reputable in my world and I'd never recommend them to anyone. They claim they're biggest incentive is to assist their customers and their independence and they do the absolute opposite!!

Many of the repairs have been brought to their attention from myself after I've ran into trouble from the beginning. They never address me when they have noticed an issue that needs attention, they just completely blow it off and hope I dont find out!!!Unfortunately, I find it and I then expect that they repair it at their cost due to their neglience.

NEVER BUY FROM THESE FILTHY CROOKS if you're looking to get your moneys worth out of something.

I am sorry that this customer felt the need to file this report.  I agree that they have had an extreme degree of bad luck with their van, however I do not feel they are justified in filing this report calling us crooks and rip offs. We allow and encourage our customers to have used vehicles inspected by a trusted mechanic prior to purchase. When they purchased their 2002 van in 2010 it was a van I had personally driven for a period of time before the sale.  I had not experienced any problems of note with it exception that occasionally the door would open and the ramp would not deploy.  If the door was recycled (opened and then closed manually) it would open as it should.  This type of intermittent problem happens occasionally with all handicap modified minivans and is impossible to diagnose when it is operating properly.  The van was given and passed a New York Inspection by an independent inspection facility.  Shortly after the customer took possession of the van a front brake pad essentially disintegrated and caused the brake rotor and brake cylinder to heat up.  We paid to have both the brake rotor and brake cylinder replaced at an independent service facility of the customers choice.  Not too long thereafter the customer notified us that the ABS light would come on occasionally under damp rainy conditions and the sliding door would not operate all the time.  We asked the customer to bring in their van and supplied them with a  handicap van rental free of charge.  We worked on the door but could not get it to fail to operate and we could not identify a cause.  Desiring a resolution for the customer we went a step farther had an independent garage look at the ABS issue but since the light was not on they could not determine the cause.  After personally operating the van in rainy conditions I could not get the door to fail to operate or the ABS light to come on.  After we returned the van to the customer, she was able to bring it in while the light was on.  A faulty ABS sensor was found and replaced again at no cost to the customer.

Recently the customer decided to purchase an ez-lock wheelchair tie down, as a sign of good will we gave the customer a discount because we felt they deserved some consideration for inconveniences experienced in the past.  While installing the ez lock our mechanic noticed that the floor support beam where he was installing the ez lock was rusted and it deformed when he tightened the bolts. He told me about it and I called the conversion manufacturer and ordered a replacement part.  Because the part has to be made by the manufacturer we could not schedule the repair immediately. It was our intention to have the customer come in as soon as the part arrived. During the time that elapsed the customer attempted to renew the NYS inspection. The vehicle was not permitted to pass inspection because of the part that needed to be replaced. We currently have the vehicle and are completing the replacement of the part at no cost to the customer.

I agree that the customer has had an unfortunate series of unforeseen circumstances. I feel we have gone above and beyond to resolve the customers problems with as little inconvenience and no expense to the customer.  Each time the vehicle was needed for more than a couple of hours the customer was provided with a handicap van rental free of charge.

With all vehicles regular preventative maintenance is recommended to maintain good working order, this is especially important in the case of lowered floor handicap conversions.  Regular maintenance to clean and inspect the mechanical parts of the conversion help prevent and predict occurrences of break downs due to miss use or normal wear and tear.  Since we sold this vehicle a year ago the customer has not performed any of the recommended maintenance on the handicap equipment.  A vehicle that is 8 years old at the time of purchase is not in the same condition as a brand new vehicle and should not be expected to perform with the same accuracy as a brand new one. We have done everything within reason to make this customer happy. We are saddened by the fact that they felt the need to report us to this site but do not feel that there is anything we could have done differently under the circumstances.
