 Very rude and unprofessional. Agreed to a price on the phone and then waited all day for technician to arrive. He arrives and wants 50 percent more than agreed to. I called the office and they were very rude and said we could take the inflated price or leave it. They knew it was too late to call another carpet cleaner that day so they knew they could try to squeeze me. Finally I just agreed to pay their over inflated price. The technician took cash from me and went outside to get his cleaning tools and then came back in and refused to do the work. Don't let these people waste your time with bait and switch tactics.

 I know every business has a bad day. But my experience was very bad. I am willing to give you a second chance. Call me. If I am treated properly, I will report that as well.

Clearing the air

The reason our Company is happy to respond to this complaint is to clear the air for anyone who reads this. 

We will be happy to publicly publish the calls with the attachments alloted in which your wife begged and pleaded for you to stop cursing, yelling and screaming on the phone and towards the technician. There is no intent to embarrass you which is why the recording have not been made public. We as a company are more professional that than, despite your feelings toward us. While the technician was in your home, he messaged the office asking if he can leave because of your violent and angry language and manorisms.

At all times, it is the companies responsibility to ensure safety and a healthy atmosphere, which your home was not. Your wife provided inaccurate information upon scheduling in which she stated the carpets were not that bad, and when we arrived that was not the case. She admitted that and said she had hoped to just do the minimum to just get by due to budetary reasons. We can completely understand that, but we have to be able to stand behind our work. We will not take your money or anyones money if we cannot produce professional results.

We tried to explain that but you did not want to hear that, you just wanted your way. The carpets were in terrible condition and the next best thing to replacing the carpets you were given recommendations for. You did wait for your evening appointment time, which is what anyone would do when they book an appointment. We did call you as we told your wife we would do 30 minutes ahead. You were provided a free estimate, we as a company chose not to service you based soley on your attitude and behavior. Just as you stated, we were not paid even though to you tried to keep us in your home and pay us to be there, and there is a reason for that. Yourself.

This company enjoys people, cleaning carpet, making people happy, being in business, all of which we have been doing successfully for 30 years. We can live up to any agreement we make, we chose not to make any agreement with you, again due to your vile and hostile attitude in which the technician asked our dispatch team to leave your property. We of course, obliged. As far as profiting (last sentence in your statement) that never happened because we never took a penny from you for that appointment. Again, we wish we could have made you happy and we are sorry things didn't work out.

Just another attempt to cover up the old bait and switch routine

not sure why this business bothered to reply. It's very clear they simply want to try to cover up their deceptive practices. They knew what price they quoted. They never asked asked what condition the carpet was in prior to coming to my home or told us the price could be more. We waited five hours for them to show up. When they finally did they knew it was too late on a Saturday to get another cleaning company and knew we were expecting company the next day as we told them this. Once we were coerced into paying much more than they had originally agreed to, I placed the full cash price in the technician's hand and he said he would do the job. He at no point said he was uncomfortable in my home. He then came back in my home and announced he was not doing the work. Even after we were coerced into paying more and had placed the money in the technician's hand, this company still could not live up to its agreement. The so called recordings they state they have will reveal nothing but how rude and deceptive they were . All I asked for was for them to stick the agreement. Instead , they felt is was more profitable to run the bait and switch routine.

Dear Mr/Mrs Root,

 

We arrived on time for your appointment on 08-08-2015 with every intention of servicing your property for what you called in for. Unfortunately for you and our company, you did not provide accurate information upon scheduling. All calls are recorded and when we scheduled the appointment, it was stated the carpets have a little traffic area and were not that bad. When the representative booked in the appointment, they explained to you that we have two cleaning processes (which you were aware of because we have serviced you before and have had both cleanings done in the past). We explained that due to the high level of soil in the carpet, the carpets are beyond a maintenance cleaning. We even provided you our current promotions for correcting your problem with the carpet. As stated by your wife, you were not budgeted for more than the maintenance cleaning. The representative explained to you that the results would be very limited and we would not be willing to take your money and not provide you with professional results. Mrs Root continued to beg the representative to just do it even if it didnt turn out hte way that you both would hope. And because we are a professional company, it would be unethical to take money knowing we would produce substandard results. As Mrs Root stated, your "son gets the carpets extremely dirty, fast". Just like in past times, we did no the maintenance cleaning on your carpets, it just was not going to be successful on 08-08-2015. Because of the hostility you showed in the home, Mr Root, the representative on the phone had told you that the technician would need to leave as he felt very uncomfortable. Mrs. Root even continued to ask Mr Root to calm down while on the phone (again, we have reviewed the recorded conversation). That was the reason, no matter what the charge was, we were not willing to continue the service. We believe it is dirt on floors, we would love to help you remove it, but in a happy and healthy enviornment and in a safe working place for our employees. We wish you the very best and always strive to provide excellent service to each and every client.
