*Consumer Comment: Lack of transparency to VIP members
*REBUTTAL Owner of company: This complaint is a Hoax!
I invested over 50k into this company almost 3 years ago with promises of a good return. so fat the company has done nothing but dance around spending my money.. They lie about it ever launching. The owners Paul Elliott & Paul Mule have spent thousands on nothing to do with the company. I have hired a att to investigate them. they are know having a (phase 2 launch) to steal more money on trusting ppl. beware of them as they smile to your face and stab you in the back. i have contacted more than 10 ppl ripped off by them.. jail is ahead of these scumbags now working in wpb in a hotel on the 3rd floor.

Lack of transparency to VIP members

Though there may be some discrepancies in the information provided in the initial complaint, there is a lot of truth to the statements.
I too had hopes and aspirations of Akopia growing at such a rapid rate with wild returns. I too invested early on to reserve my spot at the top. I too question the validity of Akopia.
Let me explain.
I did not invest close to the 50k that was initially reported, but I did invest a significant amount. It was my understanding that there were no large investors in the company, just Paul M. and everyone who signed up pre-launch for approximately $1000.
After my investment I was promised the product would launch within 4 months. Here I sit well over 14 months waiting for a product launch.
As far as the location of an office, current contact information, address or if Akopia still exists, I do not know. There has been zero attempt by Paul M. or any administrative members of Akopia to contact any pre-launch (VIP) members.
I still do not know where the current office is, for all I know it could be in a 3rd floor hotel room. Last known address was the Crexent Center on Lake Worth Rd., but that was well over 2 years ago.
I also know that the product in question is being sold under a different name, thus removing the Akopia Network from the loop. This information comes direct from a call center rep that was selling the product that I happened to meet randomly one day.
If the product is successful, why is Akopia still in a pre-launch/phase 2 launch?
It certainly sounds as if the pre-launch investors $$ was used to fund a second company to sell the product under.
Paul M., your Akopia members demand and deserve answers. You've failed to communicate to them and keep them informed thus resulting in bad reviews of you and your company. If you want good reviews, I suggest you conduct yourself in a professional manor and inform your members.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Akopia Member

This complaint is a Hoax!

This is obviously a hoax. The least this person could have done was to get the information correctly and use proper spelling and English.
Misinformation 1:
First of all, Freedom Solutions has nothing to do with Akopia. Second of all, Paul Elliott was only the manager for Freedom Solutions and has nothing to do with the ownership of Freedom Solutions or Akopia.
Misinformation 2:
Second of all the person who wrote this is making this entire story up. It is impossible that they invested 50K in either of the two businesses and in no way could have been 3 years ago.
Misinformation 3:
The phone number listed for our company is not, nor has ever been our phone number.
Misinformation 4:
This person stated that we have done nothing but spent their thousands that had nothing to do with the company. First of all, they never spent thousands in our company. Second of all, we spent much more than 50k on building many things for the company.
a. We have built an entire complete website geared at helping people earn income which includes them receiving a comprehensive website to promote their business, complete invoicing, tracking, marketing, and everything needed to run a business built into the website.
b. We have built an entire community site in order to communicate with family, friends, coworkers and business associates as well as earn income through the site. This site also gives access to many expert panels in many fields that could save them time and money. This site also offers FREE access to current and future sections such as business directory to promote their business, classifieds section, dating/match site, auction section, and more. "Community of people helping people"
c. We have created an online tool which substantially increases the chances for borrowers get approved for one of the numerous mortgage restructuring programs offered by banks that typically only have a reported 10% approval rate. Many more programs are currently being worked on and created for future help to the communities.
Neither of the two companies are a scam. We have been testing our software for the past 10 months with over a hundred customers whom we have helped. We can give numerous testimonials and proof of the amazing results we have given to our customers. We are constantly improving the product and the company. We genuinely care about our customers and business associates and would never do anything to harm them. Are goal is to better their chances for a better life.
If this was a legitimate complaint, then why didn't this person post their true name? Also this person, nor any of the alleged 10 people that have complained have never contacted us about their concerns.
If all of this were true, then why didn't this person or anyone contact us directly. Oh yeah, they didn't have the correct phone number. I can be reached at 561-342-1886. Please call me with any concerns for we are here to help.
Last, but not least, if we were such a scam company, then why do we have an A rating with the better business bureau.
In closing this is obviously someone who is either our competition or someone who is disgruntled due to our decision not to do business with them due to lack of integrity.
Thank you.
