ALABAMA VFW DEPARTMENT, ERNEST GABLE 3 COMPLAINTS OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT BY PREVIOUS COMMANDER IGNORED BY POST, DISTRICT, STATE AND NATIONAL VFW ELBERTA ALABAMA

After many months of sexual inuendos, talking to my canteen manager and sleepless nights I sent a formal complaint to the state. The then Commander, Ernest Gable, was becoming more than I could handle and my manager was laughing it off. When I spoke with the Judge Advocate, Bryant Braley, I was told if I could not get along with the commander I would need to find a different job. I was stunned yet knew I could not quit my job because I would not find another in walking distance of my home. The harassment got worst the bullying started when a new bar manager was hired. I was forced to quit because of the bullying and harassment. As of July 2018 3 Formal complaints from Auxillary Members were filed with the State VFW Department. 1 of the complaints was filed by the Auxillary President. She and I have been barred from the VFW as well as 12 other life members who tried to stand up for us. I have sent multiple emails to the National VFW Auxillary President as well as the National Judge Advocate. To date myself nor the other 2 members have been contacted and no investigation has been done. Mr. Gable has since been appointed on the District Level.

Also, the State Quarter Master, Matthew Lee Lambert, has multiple convictions for peeping tom, assault on a police officer and eluding police. He has been allowed to handle the situation arising from Mr. Gable physically throwing an 86 year old life member out of the canteen and advocated for Mr. Gable to keep his position with the VFW. Any advice on wherae or how to get this issue looked into will be appreciated.
