Went in due to TMJ, and pain in my side, which turned out to be a hernia. "DR" BILL (HE'S NOT A DR...AND IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE USING "DR" ACCORDING TO THE TX MEDICAL BOARD. He was rude and crude, kept yelling something crazy and then started making rude comments about the United States, and how much "he no like it here" and couldn't wait to retire and "go back home to my country".
Then he hurt me by "jamming" in the needles and making me lay on my side, then playing w/ my bra and panites and putting a needle in my buttock, for no reason. I've had acupunture treatments for a number of years....and "Dr." Bill was the absolute worst and evil in my opinion.
I went in for pain in my side, which actually turned out to be a hernia....BILL only made it worse. I also told him I had ringing in my ears....he literally pinched underneath each ear so hard they were bruised for months and have continued to hurt more than before and even ring more than before.
"DR" BILL SHOULD NOT BE "PRACTICING" HE IS RUDE, CRUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL in my opinion and from what other acurpuncturist have said. He charges different people different prices for the same treatment / pills. HE'S EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INEPT.
I DO NO RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OR THIS "DR." In fact, I will be reporting him to the TX Medical Board. Beware! I do not recommend the other Chinese Herbal Medicine place in the same strip facing Rittiman....the guy in there was so unbelieveably rude and discusting, when I asked where the acupuncturist Dr. Bill was located.
The rude Asian actually started yelling saying, "YOU NO NOT WHAT YOU SAY! GET OUT!" ??? What? I couldn't believe it. I tried to explain, and he YELLED, "YOU GET OUT! ME NOT OPEN!" ?? Really? His door was wide open!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND ALAMO ACUPUNCTURE & CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE on RITTIMAN RD, SAN ANTONIO, TX. NOR DO I RECOMMEND THE OTHER CHINESE HERBAL PLACE IN THE SAME STRIP CENTER!

It has been a while since I saw Dr. Bill because we have moved out of state. My wife and I saw him for different reasons but we both had excellent outcomes. Yes, there were communication problems initially but they improved with time.
Perhaps it's just me but when I go to a business whose sign states they perform acupuncture and dispense Chinese medicines, I'm not too surprised that communication may be hindered, and since I entered his/her business I am responsible for making the bigger effort in bridging the communication gap.
I don't have time to go through the previous patient's comments point by point but I will say many of them could not be backed up with science.
My wife had been experiencing hot flashes associated with menopause and Dr. Bill was able to combine different herbs which stopped them in 2-3 days. I saw him for chronic back pain and through acupuncture, my pain was significantly improved by the third treatment. Unfortunately, we moved out of state and could not continue seeing Dr. Bill.
Anecdotal reports are nothing more than the writer's story. When someone tells you a story that seems somewhat over the top and just a little too colorful keep that in mind. I just hate it when the whole marching band is out of step except for me. (See original report).
