Albertson and Associates A call claiming that I have outstanding debt with a creditor; wanting to deliver important papers to my work; threatening to put a lien on my home. Wichita Kansas

I have been getting calls for the past week from the number 1-888-651-1860.  This company will leave a voice mail asking me to contat them, that they have important papers that need to be delivered to my work.  They leave the contact name of Brian Stein. 

When you call the number back, you are either transferred to a voice mail, or if you get lucky (after numerous calls) you may get to speak to someone after holding for 11 mniutes.

We did hold and spoke to a woman named Veronica.  They said we had a past account with Providian Bank and needed to pay the account today in the amount of 3,000.00 today by debit or credit card.  When we started asking questions, she became very rude and did not want to answer any questions when we asked them.  She accused of denying the charges.  

When we try to call back now, they refuse to answer our calls.

We have contacted the Attorney Generals office in our state.  We will be filing complaints with other legal authorities as well.  I encourage anyone else who is getting these calls to do the same.

They are basically harrassing us.
