I bought a pair of Suede boots for $119.98 wore them once for 2-3 hours and then found out the sole of the boot was no longer intact to the boot.

I went to the store the very next day to ask for a refund or for me to be able to get the same exact kind of boots but a different set and was refused.

The associates offered no compensation what so ever. They had no idea how come that happened. They claim to be used to having shoes brought back to the store for defects according to their associates its "normal". However they offer no fair resolution.
