Alex Zagoriy / WatchStudio52 Unethical eBay Seller - Ripped me off for $130 Internet

I was looking for a specific watch band on eBay - TechnoMarine (TM)- Contacted this seller and asked him if the TM band he had listed for $130 as a 'Buy it Now' sale would fit my particular watch - (Gave him watch model and model number of my old band that had broke) Here is his reply: "Yes it will fit, its same size"

After receiving the item, took it to two different jewelers and both said the band was too big for my watch. Contacted the seller and he didn't respond for quite a while so I sent the band back to him with a letter and all the corresponding emails - including the one from him that said it would fit. Again, no response. Finally, out of desperation, I sent him an agressive email and he finally responded. He told me that he would refund my money and it would go out that week.

Never saw the refund or heard from him again. (Though I continued to email him until I finally gave up, which is what I'm sure he hoped I would do)

There was a 7 day return policy but there were extenuating circumstances that justified waiving the 7 days. By telling me that the band would fit my watch, he put himself in the position that he had to refund - he also acknowledged that he would send me a refund and that was the right thing to do - Especially because I had already sent him the band back!

Too much time has gone by for eBay to get involved so I am filing this as a last resort!
