HOME OWNERS BEWARE!!!!!

Apparently, All Star Construction has a no refund policy for the fee's they charge when giving their "free" in- home consultation.  They seem very professional at first sight and although my wife and I were hesitant when the consultant, David Cohen asked for $800 to "speak with the city" about our construction requests, we obliged.  

Weeks have now gone by and when David finally came back to our house, he had no answers on whether or not we could move to the next steps with basic requests.  Also, whether or not the proper government offices are open or not, we still wanted and were promised actual written quotes on the work we requested.  THIS DID NOT HAPPEN! 

David was full of excuses and seemed to have completely forgotten everything that we discussed on his first visit.  This seemed odd to me and my wife, since this guy spent two hours with us as we covered everything we were interested in having them quote in detail.  David then spent ANOTHER FOUR HOURS going over the exact same details again, as though our first meeting never happened.

Fast forward to another week with no contact, no details on what information was pulled from the city and absolutely no quotes on the work we discussed several times, even though he said he would email us the very next day, so we finally requested our $800 back since we literally received NOTHING for our money, and wasted several weeks of our time.

Long story short, All Star Construction Inc. does not issue refunds for bad service, no actual work completed and zero information relayed to their customers.  Weird how you pay for a service, you expect that service and then get upset and ask for a refund when said service you paid for is NOT provided, but that's not how All Star Construction see's it.  We were blatantly ripped off and hope that no one else will be.  We recommend finding another contractor.
