Beware Alliance Health Networks:

This company spammed me. An inquiry was made via email requesting the identification of the company who did the spamming on their behalf and the source of there lists(s). This email was ignored by Alliance Health Networks.

A voice message was returned by someone identifying themself as the manager. He stated he could "not provide" the name of the company that conducted the spamming. He put another individual on the line who stated he was with the marketing company or had something to do with it. When I asked for the "source", meaning, where did my name come from, he told me he did not know!

Obviously, unless these two are exceptionally dumb, they would not be renting email lists without knowing where they originated from.

This company is involved in social networking for individuals with depression, sleep apnea, etc. They are not to be trusted.

They think they can just sit back and inconvienience people filling there inboxes with spam. Then point to buried text in disclaimers.

AUTHOR: phil - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, July 30, 2014

Multiple SPAM e-mails every day. Opting out does not work. They do not reply to repeated requests to stop spamming.

Here is a list of the SPAM e-mails I received from them just today July 30, 2014

Response from Alliance Health Networks

AUTHOR: Alliance Health - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, February 11, 2011

Alliance Health never intentionally engages in spam and we’re sorry that Charles received email offers he didn’t opt in to.  Our policy is to contact only those consumers who have opted-in to an offer or otherwise granted permission to be contacted by us or any of the vendors or marketers we retain.  When Charles contacted us about this complaint we followed up with him by phone -- both to apologize for the incident and to clarify what happened.

In this specific instance, Charles received an email offer from a third-party affiliate we occasionally use for our marketing programs.  This vendor, like others we work with, provides assurances that they will only contact consumers who have expressly provided permission to be contacted by third-party vendors.  We make every effort to work with vendors who are reputable and work only with those who agree contractually to be CANSPAM compliant.  We do not have the ability to verify that every list they use is free of consumers who may not have opted to receive specific marketing offers.

Our policy is to immediately remove an email address from our lists when a consumer believes they have been contacted without their express permission.  We also take steps to ensure that these individuals are removed from lists used by our third-party vendors.  This typically happens within ten (10) days of receiving a request, sometimes faster.

Even though our spam and consumer privacy policies are consistent with best practices in the industry, we recognize that there are times when consumers still feel aggrieved or frustrated.  Clearly this was the case with Charles and we regret that it happened.  We will continue to be vigilant in our response to these issues and proactive in ensuring that neither we nor any third parties we work with make these errors in the future.
