Telemarketing scheme. Began recieving magazines last year as part of a"free" deal. Supposedly, everything was free. This year I was "hit" with the bill. A whopping 780.00 I have received harrasing phone calls at work almost on a daily basis and then the letter form th infamous lawyer Allan P McCarty of Buffalo New York.

I did send Allied Publishing a letter requesting a cancellation of my subscriptions. I know they received the letter because they acknowledged it but said that I wasn't allowed to cancel.

I wish this nightmare would end!
