I am an Amazon India’s customer since long who is a victim of preventable fraudulent acts planted by some of Amazon India employees in collaboration with the seller K F Store/ Krishna Fashion.


To begin with in response to an offer dated 30-03-2021 for Seagate backup plus Slim 2 TB External HDD –USB 3.0 in Amazon website with original price tag of Rupees 7999/- (Approximately USD 110) with a discount of 63% - priced at Rupees 2999/- (Approximately USD 44) I have purchased it on 30th March 2021 on Purchase on Delivery basis. Later when I tried to track the shipment I didn’t get the tracking information rather it behaved strangely. I have updated this fictitious behaviour of Amazon India website to the notice of Amazon staff a number of times and requested them to give me the reason and the resolutions as I wanted to track the ordered product which went in vain. Amazon India staff asked me to wait for the response from the seller as updated by the staff that Amazon India have appointed a different delivery agency this time (very strange!) to deliver this product! Hence when I saw the same product from the same seller K F Store/Krishna Fashions for the same price I again purchased it on 1st April 2021 on POD of Rupees 2999/-.






After placing these two orders whenever I tried to track the status of the order it displayed “Sorry, we are unable to get the tracking information right now. Redirecting to order details in – seconds “. I am not even able to generate invoice copy for the order placed! I called Amazon India and shared this peculiar behaviour with various representatives. One of the representative told that the seller K F store is new seller and they don’t have their address!


With all these conversation in mind when Amazon representative arrived at my house on 03-04-2021 at 12:07 PM, the box was pasted with printed copy as “Irtihda ... Bangalore -560 098, POD and amount Rupees 2999/-“I paid the amount by cash and took the parcel. When I opened the parcel (I have a video recorded opening) I found a deodorant wrapped with a bubble sheet from Amazon. Immediately I called the person and explained to him that the parcel he delivered contained a deodorant and not the product I have ordered. When I queried him he introduced himself as Mr. Anand and told he would come immediately but never turned up.





After waiting for a few minutes I visited Rajarajeshwarinagar Police station along with the parcel box and explained everything to the inspector. Meanwhile I was able to establish a call to Amazon India representative Mr. Ashir. When I explained to him what had transpired and that currently I am in a Police station he assured me of resolving the issue. The Police Inspector also talked to Amazon representative and warned him of consequences. He told him as far as the customer is concerned it is Amazon delivered a wrong product and you should ensure a right product to be delivered. When police questioned him about this fraudulent act involving Amazon India and that the customer is insisting for immediate punitive actions he pleaded with the police inspector not to do so and assured him that he will settle these issues amicably between Amazon India and the Customer i.e. me. Inspector asked me to interact with Amazon and get the things done from them as assured, but nothing concrete took place till now.


Since I did not get any resolutions as promised I had updated all these instances on 07-04-2021to Andy Jassy CEO, Amazon Web, Jeff Blackburn, SVP, WW Business Development and Jeffrey Helbling, VP, Amazon. But it is more than one week of escalation to Amazon Inc heads and more than 2 weeks of commission of fraud involving Amazon I did not heard from them. I need resolutions and justice. Once gain on 12-04-2021 I had updated Amazon USA topmost office (Mr. Andy Jassy, Mr. Jeff Blackburn and Mr. Jeffrey Helbling) and sort them the resolutions. I am waiting for reply from Amazon USA & Amazon India and justice for imposing this preventable fraud from Amazon.
