Case #27232847

Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing's Staff have not made actual efforts to respond to our complaints. Staff have repeatedly sent form letters and template responses to our requests. Staff have repeatedly removed and restored each of our titles during each submission of changes.

We ask that our titles be restored.

We wish to complain regarding the following reason:

Our Kindle Direct Publishing Titles,

If on a winter's night a traveler, … —have been censored as being titled identically to titles which are published via third-party portfolios. However, these works are published within Amazon’s systems beneath an abbreviated title. The full title of these works contains too many characters with which to be placed into Amazon’s publication bracket. Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing’s services may view this full title within the work’s tome cover design, which we will include herein.

The following works, which are published beneath the following title,

If on a winter's night a traveler, … —are actually entitled as follows:

If on a winter's night a traveler, Outside the town of Malbork, Leaning from the steep slope Without fear of wind or vertigo, Looks down in the gathering shadow In a network of lines that enlace, In a network of lines that intersect, On the carpet of leaves illuminated by the moon Around an empty grave — What story down there awaits its end? — He asks, anxious to hear the story.

Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing System Errors

Description of issue or inquiry:

A large number of our works are not fully published to the Amazon.com
marketplace. We ask that each work be fully published. We wish to escalate our complaint to Jeff Bezos.
Several of our works have been removed from the Amazon marketplace. We have not received assistance.

Each of our titles is currently removed cyclically from publication. We have repeatedly received no assistance from Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. When we submit new versions of our titles, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing's automated system blocks our titles from publication.

A supervisor told us that we could expect to receive assistance to restore our locked titles. We are currently awaiting the restoration of every title to the Kindle platform.

As our publications range across a large number of Kindle Volumes, we request that your services make examinations of our Kindle Catalogue.

A large number of these publications are either blocked from publication, or are marked as being In Review.

These titles which are marked as being In Review are as follow:

ASIN: B0B1QM1MTM
ASIN: B09SDQ7VDL

We request that our titles be completely unlocked, and that all limitations be removed from our Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing account. We request that our documentation be presented to Jeff Bezos. We request that our complaints be delivered to Amazon’s highest management team. We have wrongfully been robbed of access to our titles. No reason has been given for this seizure.

We wish to submit another complaint. We have not received adequate contact from Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing.

"We deny ever having received any type of warnings, notifications, or notices of account termination, as mentioned, to the electronic mail address associated with our Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing Account.

We have examined every folder within our account's electronic mail account, and found no such correspondence. We were not informed of any inaccuracies within our account's information. We have thoroughly searched our account for any type of warning, or notice of account termination. We are not able to speak via telephone within Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing Support. We wish to complain regarding this lack of communication, and this lack of service. We are unable to communicate via telephone with the Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing Support platform. We were unable to receive our orders of three unreleased items which were scheduled for publication during the day of our publisher’s termination. We wish to receive those three orders.

We wish to request that an investigation into this matter be initiated. We wish to escalate this matter through higher supervision teams." Your customer service is absolutely atrocious. We have repeatedly written about this issue. Your system is ridiculously corrupted. We have submitted complaints to The Better Business Bureau. We are also considering legal consultation regarding this account. We require immediate telephone contact from your department.

Our telephone number is as follows: 248-770-4072 .

We require immediate contact. We no longer receive an option to submit a request for telephone contact. We require immediate assistance. The account is listed beneath the name of A.R. We have repeatedly written to your department regarding our closed account. We have repeatedly been disconnected from this service. We no longer have access to this account. This customer service is ridiculous. We wish to communicate with a supervision staff member.

We require further chat support. We require assistance regarding this account. We have not received any adequate communications from this department. This issue requires immediate assistance. We wish to receive immediate telephone contact.

Tell us how we can help. If you’re experiencing an error making changes to your Series Page, please attach a screenshot and provide the following information:

ASIN / ISBN:
Describe the change you’re trying to make:
What webpage you experienced the error on (include the URL):
Provide the URL for your Series page on Amazon (if applicable):

I recall that we accidentally requested that our series be locked to further editing. We would like our series to be unlocked for further changes.

We have not received satisfactory responses. Our publishing firm has attempted to explain that these published works are not public domain items. Amazon responds to such issues very vaguely, so that its rulings and its regulations may be very loosely defined. Amazon lacks clear guidelines and policies regarding its Amazon Kindle Publishing Program. We doubt that any actual review of this material has occurred.

We have not received actual reviews. We are concerned that our work may be further impaired because of Amazon's purposefully vague and inconsistent regulations.

The supposed reviews have been based only upon listed attributions through the items Amazon page. We have repeatedly asked for further assistance with this issue. We highly doubt that any Amazon members have read this manuscript of four hundred Thousand words, or that any further works have been examined. every response that we have received has been a generic missive, lacking any specific information.

We submitted this case because we were not receiving adequate care. Amazon did not provide any original information when first it locked our series to further editing, and removed our work from the Amazon Kindle Select Program. Our work has been targeted repeatedly by Amazon for these issues, without any specific explanation. Amazon is disreputable for its draconian treatment of publishers, and its purposefully vague regulations. These vague regulations allow Amazon to make judgments whenever the corporation wishes to remove material or protect itself. No clear guidelines exist regarding what material is permitted to be placed into a series. Our publishing platform did not receive any explanations when our series was originally locked to further editing, or when our work was removed from the Kindle Select Publishing platform. We have received other purposefully vague responses to other issues. Within our publishing Account, we listed these works as belonging exclusively to our publishing platform. These works have not been listed as public domain items. We have continuously received generic responses which were extremely similar to one another.

We have attempted repeatedly to cooperate with Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing to resolve our issues regarding these matters.

We have attempted to avail ourselves of other means of communication with Amazon. Unfortunately, these methods have not been successful. We have not received additional customer care. We have attempted to cooperate with Amazon teammates throughout this process.

We have also observed other publishing agents who have experienced similar issues with Amazon. We are concerned about the safety of our publications. We have not attempted to breach Amazon's regulations or other guidelines. Amazon holds a very low ranking through the Better Business Bureau. We have observed similar complaints to our own listed through this platform. We are availing ourselves of every step which is available to resolve this matter.

We simply wish that we may be the masters of our publishing platform’s series and rights. We are determined to pursue this matter further until such time as we have satisfactorily resolved our issue.

Our livelihoods are being impaired because we have listed certain authors as being contributors to our platform’s work. We have only received extremely generic customer service. We do not consider this matter to have been resolved.

This department has continually responded with template answers.

Your department repeatedly lies regarding its intent. We have never been given an opportunity to alter any type of information within this account.

Your agents no longer respond to communications with your department.

We refer once more to our previous rebuttal:

“We have made all possible efforts to communicate our position to your department regarding our publishing platform.

We have continually protested the decision to terminate our rightful account. We spoke to an Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing supervisor who assured us that your department would grant unto us a legitimate explanation and review of this wrongful account termination. We have not received further contact from your department following this request.

We never received any warning that Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing intended to terminate this publishing account. We have now been locked from the Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing “chat” feature, and your department remains unresponsive to further contact.

We have repeatedly requested further assistance from this department. However, your department previously told us of your decision to continue our account termination.

Your staff no longer response to our communications to your various electronic mail addresses. We have repeatedly protested this incorrect decision by your department to shun and ostracize us from your artistic world.

We successfully operated this publishing account for six years without any incidents regarding our copyright compliance and other quality compliances. Your department has not given us any form of basic artistic dignity.

We are unable to access any account details. Your department refuses any specific details as to why our account has been removed from access.

Your department has stolen our royalty payments, which we rightfully earned within this account. We wish to receive our rightfully earned royalty payments as artists and publishers.

Your staff have treated us atrociously. Your department clearly disdains it creators. We have attempted to make our needs clear to your staff. We have not received further telephone contact from your department after making repeated attempts towards communication, and you have refused to give us any clear details regarding account information.

Your staff have done nothing to protect our artwork, and our creative expression. Your services have provided no support to our publishing house, and Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing is notorious for its poor treatment of its authors and publishers.

Your department refuses to make even a minor payment of our owed royalties. We refuse to believe that your department cares for its creators. Your department seeks to protect itself with arbitrary and vague guidelines. We have never experienced fair treatment from your department. Your department has repeatedly removed our works from the Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing Select Program.

Whilst we wish to request the reinstatement of our account, we no longer wish to work with your services. Your department has not treated us with basic human dignity and respect. Amazon notoriously creates vague regulations so that your staff may create arbitrary rulings without explanation.

Your department has displayed no care for its creators, and we fully intend to boycott your services. The creators of our publishing house demand to be treated with fairness, and artistic integrity.

We have not been respected as noble artists of the literary form. We ask your department for your consideration regarding your customer care.

We request to personally present our case to Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon. Your department has shown no personal care for your supposedly valued customers and artists. Jeff Bezos founded Amazon with the goal of exquisite customer service, and excelsior.

We do not know of any account information which was inaccurate at the time of this wrongful account closure.

We fully intend to pursue further legal avenues regarding our account, including arbitration. Your department has wrongfully robbed us of our royalties. The actions of your department constitute piracy against our publishing house.”

Staff Terminated Our Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing Account for A Timespan Of More Than Eleven Weeks

Our works are only partly visible within the Amazon marketplace, and beneath our author Central Page. We request that a technical examination be made of these error pages within the Amazon Marketplace. Sixteen titles from twenty-two published titles are visible within our Author Central page. Certain of our published works are not tied to our Amazon Author Central Page.
We have repeatedly requested intervention for this publication failure. We have observed that our remaining titles are not published to the Kindle Store. We have not received a restoration of our preliminary order title: ASIN: B09SDQ7VDL

Our work is only partly visible within the Amazon Marketplace: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019D3313M Several of our works contain only an empty page. The below Amazon pages show only errors:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LYZ6HBC

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LQDMXM3

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09SDLWFNX

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LYYZNVM

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LYZ5NQC

We wish to escalate our complaint to Jeff Bezos.

Several of our works have been removed from the Amazon marketplace. We have not received assistance. Each of our titles is currently removed cyclically from publication. We have repeatedly received no assistance from Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. When we submit new versions of our titles, Amazon Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing's automated system blocks our titles from publication. A supervisor told us that we could expect to receive assistance to restore our locked titles. We are currently awaiting the restoration of every title to the Kindle platform.

Every work should be delivered to customers, as we originally submitted incorrect files for each work. Each completed item should automatically be “Pushed,” to customers. Our reports feature is no longer accessible to our staff. Our account was previously closed. Any representative who states that each of our titles is available within the Amazon Marketplace is blatantly deceitful. No representative has examined our published titles which are absent from Amazon.com. Despite the active status of these works, each title is clearly not visible within the Amazon Kindle marketplace. We are asking that an investigation be made into the behavior of obstinate staff. We lost twenty thousand dollars of unpaid royalties as a result of our account closure.

We did not record altercations which occurred within private telephone numbers. No witnesses observed the employee who arrived at the residence. We received a charge dispute from Paypal. An Amazon staff member made a firearms threat against us. This employee requested personal financial details. This person committed theft against us. We wish to escalate this complaint.

An Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing staff member threatened us at our residence. An Amazon staff member made a firearms threat against me. This person committed theft against me.

An Amazon Kindle Direct Staff Member made a threat to bring a firearm to Amazon's headquarters, and to commit a mass shooting. We have released dozens of preliminary-order works. Our works are blockaded by Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing's system during each change to our metadata, even without changes to a manuscript. We wish to request that Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing's systems be halted from the cancelling of our preliminary orders. We ask that our preliminary titles not be cancelled when we submit these items for the final publication date. We ask that our titles be restored.

We have not received a restoration of our preliminary order title:
ASIN: B09SDQ7VDL

Staff have not made actual efforts to respond to our complaints. Staff have repeatedly sent form letters and template responses to our requests. Staff have repeatedly removed and restored each of our titles during each submission of changes.

I don't know if you have a viable case, or not. You may very well have said case. However, please learn this: When you are complaining about something via the written word, even if you have a very valid complaint, USE THE READERS DIGEST VERSION! Nobody but nobody wants to take the time to read "War and Peace"! I do have an interest in your experience but I don't have the time to read whatever it is you are trying to say! Excess verbiage DOES NOT ADD to the viability of any case. In many cases, too many people have used excess verbiage to try to cover up having no case at all! I'm not saying that's what you are doing! If you can't write out your compliant in one page, then you are not being a good writer. Trust me, I've read more complaints and narratives than probably you ever will read. Getting quickly to the point is mandatory to getting someone to seriously consider reading it. The only time an abundance of verbiage is in order is when you need to submit Court briefs and I've seen them go to over 1000 pages!

Staff have repeatedly sent form letters and template responses to our requests. Staff have repeatedly removed and restored each of our titles during each submission of changes. We ask that our titles be restored. We wish to complain regarding the following reason: Our Kindle Direct Publishing Titles, If on a winter's night a traveler, … — have been censored as being titled identically to titles which are published via third-party portfolios. However, these works are published within Amazon’s systems beneath an abbreviated title. The full title of these works contains too many characters with which to be placed into Amazon’s publication bracket. Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing’s services may view this full title within the work’s tome cover design, which we will include herein. The following works, which are published beneath the following title, If on a winter's night a traveler, … — are actually entitled as follows: If on a winter's night a traveler, Outside the town of Malbork, Leaning from the steep slope Without fear of wind or vertigo, Looks down in the gathering shadow In a network of lines that enlace, In a network of lines that intersect, On the carpet of leaves illuminated by the moon Around an empty grave — What story down there awaits its end? — He asks, anxious to hear the story. We refer once more to our previous rebuttal: "We have made all possible efforts to communicate our position to your department regarding our publishing platform. We have now been locked from the Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing "chat” feature, and your department remains unresponsive to further contact. The actions of your department constitute piracy against our publishing house.” Staff Terminated Our Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing Account for A Timespan Of More Than Eleven Weeks Our works are only partly visible within the Amazon marketplace, and beneath our author Central Page. We have not received a restoration of our preliminary order title: ASIN: B09SDQ7VDL Our work is only partly visible within the Amazon Marketplace: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019D3313M Several of our works contain only an empty page. Each completed item should automatically be "Pushed,” to customers. We have not received a restoration of our preliminary order title: ASIN: B09SDQ7VDL Staff have not made actual efforts to respond to our complaints. Your report is completely incomprehensible. If this is how you write your books, I can see why Amazon removed them. For crying out loud, find another hobby. And it's their platform, they don't have to allow your content on there if they don't want to.
