American web loan is a ripp off...i received a loan from them for $850....i paid every 2 weeks since december 2013 $240..its march 13th today ti pay off  my loan was $1,040..total...they oruginally made me feel like i was paying on my loan plus interest every paying..i was only paying $5 towards my loan and all the rest was interest...over 50% of what i originally borrowed was paid per month for the last 3 months...i think that all leners should be regulated even the reservation...

My concern wasnt the contract in itself...how ever i did read it and the reason for me needing money is that my newborn came early and it crippled my home income...but im ok now..its paid in full...my problem is that they made it seem that those bi weekly payment was to pay the loan down...it was advertised to me to be a loan that paid itself down...thats why i was ok with the large payment

Here's what's on their site under "FAQ's":

Upon approval of your loan, we will send you a copy of your signed loan agreement.

What does your loan agreement say is the interest rate?  Have you even looked at it yet, or did you already throw it away?

They are what could be classified as a sub-sub-prime lender charging high double digit or triple digit interest rates.

YOU agreed to the terms when you took the loan.  Pretty plain why you're now in financial trouble.
