If anyone has an account with American General Financial Services ( home loans,equity lines of credit,car loan ect) BEWARE ! If you decide to pay-off or transfer your account to another financial institution, this company will charge you a $30.00 upfront fee in order to release the pay-off information . This is so outrageous and this is the first time we heard about company charging a fee to release the pay-off information.

If you have been victimized by this company You can file a formal complaint with the office of the Department of Corporation,Consumer Affairs Dept.
