I did realize that, and still if you do your research, not on Torchmark, but on AMERICAN INCOME LIFE, spelled that way you will find our rating. It's no wonder by the way, that you are and EX employee.

AM Best is a rating company that rates insurance companies based on two things:

Financial Strength - the ability to pay claims based on cash reserves

Payment of Claims - the actual payment of claims



They do not rate anything else. They don't rate customer service, complaints, agents or anything else. So your "Ask AM Best" statement really doesn't make any sense if you understand what they do, which obviously you do not. In addition, the last time I checked you little brochures that have the AM Best rating were referring to Torchmark's (The parent company of AIL) rating.

I did not find that his one good comment on your cover letter was offensive at all. He simply said that he was impressed by it. Also, if you ever get the opportunity, in some unfortunate company, to sit on his side of the desk you would know that employers see all kinds of horrible and unprofessional things as it relates to resumes. So don't take a comment on your job well done as a sign that the company is subpar in any way. By the way, I really doubt that you have a case for sexual harrassment, "sweetheart", since it was an open room, noone remembers anyone calling you that, and if you knew anything about the law regarding you would have had to voice that you felt that you were in an uncomfortable situation.

Most interviewers ARE amzed to find a properly done resume' and cover letter. You would be shocked at how often a job applicant shows up wearing little if anything that is considered professional attire.



As for being called "sweetheart", big deal. Grow up and get over it. I have had women as bosses, and they call the men "honey". Go see if you can find an attorney to sue for something as trivial as that. Good luck. Was there ever a demand for sex in exchange for employment? Was sex ever discussed at all? No? No sexual harrassment. The courts have stopped ruling that looking at someone or complimenting them is illegal. Have fun getting that attorney. Normal human interaction is not harrassment. I have customers who call me honey. I have parts delivery drivers I call baby. Grow up, and get over it.
