We had water damage in our house to the tune of $12,000. A plastic waterline came loose and damaged sheetrock and insulation on some walls. American Modern called it an "Explosion" and will not cover it.
The agent that sold the policy said" they are just trying to get out of the claim". As he read the policy we were covered.
Go read the history on who this company really is. They have had to change their name to protect their image. They were MIDLAND Insurance who was a bad company also.
