my friend and i wanted to purchase american pharmaceutical sales association from robert panfili, and we were to put a deposit of 50,000 dollars total and the rest would be financed. we could not get financed because we did not have enough assets.

mr. panfili refuses to give back our deposit, he says we voided our contract, there was never a contract signed.

mr. panfili father who is also linked to this business deal somehow, says they will give back the money, but this has been going on for 10 months now.

Advice to help

He has changed his last name to Paulo.  I recently met with him.  He was trying to scam me.  I figured it out.  If you go to this web site and fill out a report it will stop him.  I live in MD.  I read some other reports and he has been hitting a lot of states. www.ic3.gov

what seems to be a professional interview is actually a professional con

I went for an interview with this fellow, he refers to himself as Rob Paulo, or Robert Panfili, and numerous others I have read. First of all, he was selling you a company that exist only online and if you investigate enough it is only a front to work his scam. There is another complaint on here that was exactly how my experience went with this man, that talks about how I needed, HAD TO, have this accredidation in order to get passed onto stage two of the hiring process and all I needed to do was to give him my credit card number and he would get my Pre-license number reserved for me so that I would be allowed to continue with the hiring process. I am mad at myself that I even wasted my time and $$$ on gas to drive to this interview. I am so fortunate that my husband is in law enforcement and that as I explained this to him red flags were going off with him and we both sat down to do our investigation on the internet about this so called company iGenetics...which DOES NOT exist. there is a website, that anyone can create, but there is no way to contact them except through email, and the site boast about being apart of this APSA organization, but if you cross reference that organization you will instantly start finding complaints about being a scam! Good luck to all who run across this man, he is definitely a con, and a very good one, seems very professional, BUT...no legitimate company is going to ask for money upfront, or your credit card info. please keep that in mind. Even job recruiters don't ask for YOUR money, the company who ultimately ends up hiring you pays them?! I feel foolish, but more than anything...I can still see the faces of the interview candidate leaving as I arrived and the one after me waiting, and another sitting in the lobby of a hotel awaiting their turn. I surely hope they didn't act on it before running it by someone to see another's opinion. The lesson that I have learned is IF it sounds too good to be true...it probably is!

Also there is no existing company on the BBB website and it is a national website, and I googled map the address on his business card, which does not exist, all that is in that location is a cemetary. Someone needs to do something about this man! I am willing to help in any way possible!
