After giving them my credit card information, I received a better offer while on the phone with them and told them to not put it through, I would call back if I was going to use them.  They processed the $100 charge anyway.  I went with Coast to Coast as they were $150 cheaper.  American Premium did not send a truck, no one at the dealership stated that they had a second truck show up.  And it took two days before coast to coast picked it up.

After seeing I was charged on my credit card bill, I called and asked for a refund since there were no services rendered.  Scotty said they do not do refunds.  After finding out that it costs roughly $50 to file in small claims in New Jersey, they knew I would probably not take the time, money, and effort to sue them for the money.

Stay away from these folks.  There is a reason they have an F from the BBB.

I had just given them the credit card info and looked at my mail to tell them more details when I saw an offer for $150 less. I told them to wait so I could check it out. They did not. If you would like to call Chris Boz at the Lakeland dealership to verify that only one truck showed up to pick up my car not 2.

No service rendered=crooks. Btw, every other site that I posted on also said they were horrible. Figured I would do my part to help other folks stay away from them. Felt so strongly I signed up for yelp for the first time at the age of 52. If it helps, I am also a grandfather and Army veteran.

Talk about bad timing

So based on this narrative you must have literally just given them the last digit of your card at the exact moment you got another "better" offer and immediatly said to not process the charge. Because anything beyond this timing would give them the time(and valid reason) for them to run the card because you don't give someone a credit card without expecting them to process a deposit.

It is also very interesting in your narrative that you went directly to the "Don't process it", instead of "I just got this offer from XYZ company...can you match it?". This is what most people would do especially if they got to the point of being willing to put down a deposit.

As for the ratings, that has no bearing on your report. As if the ratings actually mattered to you, then you would have looked them up BEFORE you decided to do business with them.

By the way the reason this company isn't accredited by the BBB is because they haven't paid the BBB for the acredidation. Perhaps you should look up things such as "BBB Pay for Play" and then decide how much you want to trust these type of ratings.
