AWR which has the water and sewer line protection service in NYC refused to come to my property because my house is held in trust. I am the one paying the water bill with the fees that they charge for the last six years. They never had a problem with my paying them nor did they ever ask who was the owner of the property (technically it is still me), but when it came time to honor their service contract, they look for any little excuse to wriggle out of their responsibility. They are a scam and don't waste your money on any service contract with them.
