America's Service Station auto ripoff liars Dacula Georgia

My husband's car broke down on the interstate, we had it towed to the above establishment. They quoted my husband a price of 890.00 to replace the timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley,and the drive belts.

When we picked the car up, we paid and went home to call some other establisments to get prices for the same work. We called 2 other places and found out the parts cost 199.00 but we had been charged 415.00 for parts. When I called back to talk to the General Manager, he informed me that he had to mark up the parts but as I told him that mark up is ridiculous.

He also informed me that the parts have a 36,000 mile warranty and that has to be to be paid for so that is also added to the price of the parts. I told him I did not ask for that warranty.

They also wanted to tell me they had given my husband a ride to our home- 1 mile down the road! I asked how much that cost me- it was free- THANK GOODNESS!!! My point is that it is ridiculous for parts to be marked up that much, I realize this establishment has to earn a living, but so does my family!
