I took my car to the friendly neighborhood America's Service Station to get my oil changed. When I got there, I told them what I wanted, and they said "Great, we have a special where you get your tires rotated and oil changed for twenty bucks" I also told them that something was wrong with my drivers window motor, and the window wasnt rolling down, and she said they would ignore that window. So I took their offer and sat in the waiting room for a long time..

While reading some outdated car magazine, one of their "techs" comes into the waiting room to explain to me everything extra I needed with my car (new wiperblades, new tires, new filter, blah blah blah). I knew this whole upselling business is what these places were all about, so to shut him up, and to help put food on someones table, I took their offer of a new filter for $25..

Another 30 min go by, and another "tech" comes into the room asking for me, of which I got up and went to talk to him. He proceeded to tell me that they got my driver's window stuck inside the door somehow. I told him that I specifically said to ignore that window, and with a response with a smart mouth attitude, he responded saying that it wasnt listed in their notes, and that therefore they were not responsible. He continued saying that it is normal policy to roll that window down, to avoid locking keys in the car. He said that when the window didnt roll down, they just continued and tried to give it a little push to go down, but once it went down, it fell into the door.

As pissed as I was, he told me that they couldnt do anything. He told me that he was the manager, and that he would give me the oil change/ filter for free, but I would have to pay 90 bucks for an hour labor charge to have them "check out" my window. Following the 90, I would have to pay an additional fee to have it fixed...

This place is the biggest scam ever . I told him that I would not be dealing with them anymore, and I took my driver windowless car, and left.
