Americas Servicing Company Aplied 2nd mortgage payment to 1rst then reported to bearua missed pymt Newark New Jersey

This happend a while back but want people to know it can happen to them with this company and I always worry each month that it will happen again. I send my payments by mail 2 seperate checks one for the 1rst mortgage and one for the 2nd mortgage with the account numbers written on the checks! No one called me to say that I was late when I really wasn't. I had set up an appointment to have central air put it in and was denied because of credit. At that time I could not think of why my credit was so bad all of a sudden. My bank statements showed me my house payment had been cleared. Then I got my house bill with late fees and what a mess. I called them and they said they never got the one mortgage payment and I said look again and explained to them what I had sent. The rep does a little more searching to find out that they applied my 2nd mortgage payment to the 1rst mortgage loan. Anyone who knows credit knows after 30 days they report it to the bearu! Thats just what they did! It majorly dropped my score HUGE! I had to go report it to the credit bearues just to make sure they followed up with there end. It took well over a month to get it straightend and cleared off of my credit. They kept trying to attatch late fees and it was a mess. I have never been so upset. I had no say in this company taking over my loan. The latest as of today is I am being charged a $10 fee for each loan because they released papers of my payoff balance to a company that I was planning on refinancing with? I could have called myself and got the balance for free and why wasn't I told this before they gave out that info? I have refinanced before and let me tell you I have NEVER heard of this being done. I feel as if I am being ripped off. This place has no where to pay on line for free for its customers, no street address just a PO box and I am very worried with them having my house loan. I hope soon I am able to fix my debt vs ratio, get the equity built up and get the heck away from this company.
