Amish Heaters Huge Rip Off, BUYER BEWARE!!!!! canton, Ohio
*Consumer Suggestion: Check the BTU and square foot ratings
I was given one of these Amish heaters from family to help save money due to low income. I used it for a month and it heated the place great but when I got my electric bill it got unplugged very quickly. It made my electric bill outrageous. Way more than I could afford. This item is a huge scam. It does not save you money in any way shape or form. This company should reimburse everyone who has bought one and they should be shut down automatically. I can not believe these items are being bought. I know I can not afford any extras and I am certain others can not as well. These are trying times and people should not be taken advantage of.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Check the BTU and square foot ratings

You should check what the BTU's on the heater are and what amount of space they are designed to heat. I bought electric heaters that only heat about 500 square feet. If I try to heat 1000 sq feet the heater is going to have to work harder and therefore cost me more on the my electric bill. I have noticed that most electric heaters/fireplaces only heat around 400-600 square feet.
I don't know if you are trying to heat more than the unit is rated for but you might want to check the box or the user guide to make sure. If you are you may need to purchase more than one unit.
