I have been charged $48.79 for two straight months from this company on a product I never ordered or received. The first time, I called the company and they said they would take it off my credit card. They never did. Visa did however take it off my charge. But the next month's bill had the credit and also a new bill for $48.79 from this company. Now I have to do the smae thing all over again. Be careful!

In our defense.... We agree that there are some issues

Let us first clear some of the air about this company. LD CALLING PLAN and AMR LONG DISTANCE are the same company. Recent mergers and aquisitions have provided more merchant accounts for charges to be processed through. Hence the different discriptions for charges.

We agree that there are some issues in communications that need addressing. We are working on them as quickly as possible

This is how it all starts.

You decide to make a purchase with a company (insert your favorite) and at that time, the representative asks if you would be interested in trying a "free 30 day trial on a Long Distance Calling Card service." If the purchase was made via the internet (ie. www.somecompany.com), then at the order confirmation page, there was a check box indicating that you wished to "try a free 30-day long distance calling card service."

These companies are those that provide products on television info-mercials (Thunder Stick, Thigh Master, etc.) Online merchants (computers, vitamins and health products, etc.) And Home shopping channels (QVC, Shop at Home, etc.)

If, during that 30-day free trial, you decide that you no longer want the service, all we ask is that you call us to cancel. If you do not have the number, call us at:

** 1-800-737-6183 **

We will be more than willing to help you clear this up.
