Amy S Norris showed interest in an Arabian gelding I had advertised for a friend. She was giving the horse away to the right home. At first Amy was very friendly telling me her vast love of arabians and how she has a special way with them. She expressed that she was a great rescue and that she rehomes 60-75+ horses per year. Well then it all went south when I began asking or references. This horse is very special to my friend I had compiled a list of questions that I would give to any rescue that I would consider sending a horse to.

First does she have references for her past 6 months of rescues adopted out and surrendered? I also asked for a farried and vert reference. I called her vet reference and he would not release any information even though Amy said that he would. She would NOT provide any adoption or surrender references AT ALL. She then proceeded to block me on facebook and to tell everyone I was fake even flagged my profile AND plastered negative information all over facebook.

So I began to research her supposid rescue. There are no postive references from her at ALL anywhere that I could find. She is a known regular to dumping horses at the auction and in the kill pen. She openly admitted working with a meat buyer which now is beleived how she disposes of horses she cannot sell quick enough. Also two horses were recently pulled from her property 200+ pounds under weight full of lice and strangles.

I have been watching thier progress and both horses have gained steadily since day one leaving Amy Norris's farm. Please use caution. This rescue is BAD news and is not even a rescue. She claims she is no longer operating her rescue but I can confirm she just tried obtaining another arabian under falsehoods and she took in two burros and a llama. This woman is SICK.

Drama and Lies

AUTHOR: MisfitAcres - ()

POSTED: Thursday, September 12, 2013

I am so sick of these lies. I was looking to replace my Arabian mare a long while back because she came up lame. She tore 2 wholes in her upper suspensory tendon. She was seen and treated by Jim Irving for 2 years costing me several thousand dollars. Sarah was no longer ridable! I was looking for another Arab to replace my best friend who spent the rest of her years as a very much loved pasture puff. I simply inquired about this Arabian. As far as my vet references, anyone is allowed to call my vets office, my farrier, my dentist and my chiropractor for info and YES they are all given permission to give out info to whomever asks for it. If I know your name I call all of my people and give them permission to release info. I have had people call my vets office and get rude to the point that the office gals refuse to talk to some people. It's funny because everyone goes back to the 2 TB's I allowed Mustang Valley to take to help me out when I was going in and out of the hospital. I have posted my full story on that whole ordeal and if people don't want to do the proper research to find out true facts, I can't help that. The horses had both been vetted, teeth floated, lice were taken care of, they were wormed, and feet trimmed when they got here. Those horses lost weight in the care of Stephanie aka Mustang Valley! I have pictures to prove what they looked like here. If you read peoples post on here they say that the horses lost 200 pounds in 21 days. Those 21 days were when the horses were with Stephanie and the one horse died in her care! So don't blame me for what happened on her farm.
