I was trying to apply for student loans because I am needing help and keep getting denied for them.  I decided to look to see what was on my credit and was stunned to see this revolving debt from this company for something I never owned or had.  I instantly decided to look them up to see what this company was and sure enough, it's a rip off.  This is ridiculous and hopefully we can all band together and find a way to get this company back.

AFNI is a difficult firm to deal with.

Send AFNI a letter via Certified Mail + Return Receipt (NOT regular mail) stating:

Per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, I am requesting written validation of this alleged debt, to include a copy of the  original signed contract with my signature. A typed letter showing an account number and balance due will not be accepted as validation.

Refusal to validate within the 30 day time period will be documented.

Receipt of this letter is being time stamped by the USPS
