Anthony Ray Pettit, Alliance 7 Contractor scam artist, cheat, liar and will take you for all he can. Houston Texas

This "contractor" is no more than a professional scam/con man. His intentions are to rip off honest people that have placed their faith in his word "as a Christian man".

He has no intentions other than to take the advance money and string the owner of the home along until the owner has no choice but to fire him. By that time, he has cashed the check and your money is gone.

Now that you have paid him and eventually fired him... he will use the routing and account number on your checks to call dating and porn sites and bill you for them using your checking account information which he has kept on file.

Below are just a few of the problems I encountered with this guy.

1) No permits of any type were obtained by Alliance 7 Inc. as per city of Houston code requirements and the contractual agreement with my company prior to beginning repairs on April 4, 2005 as required by the City of Houston and the contract made with my company.

2) The incomplete electrical installation of wires, outlet boxes and main breaker were not installed according to the City of Houston code requirements and were installed without the required electrical permits. (Code requires a minimum 150 A breaker with a new breaker box, meter box and new conduit to service wires. Outlet box locations and levels above the floor are also incorrect) All installations now must be rewired according to code and by a licensed master electrician.

3) The sheet rock and drywall installations throughout were not installed according to the City of Houston code requirements and will have to be replaced accordingly. (Used drywall instead of the required drywall)

4) The back porch construction and installation was not installed according to the City of Houston code requirements. (Used untreated lumber)

5) The floors and drywall installation of the bathroom were also not installed according to the City of Houston code requirements and must be replaced.

Further, only after the insistence of the managing partners of my company to exhibit the permit, did he obtain a remodel permit dated May 9, 2005. This is long after the expiration due date of completion of our contract. This negligence on his part could have caused our property to be Red Tagged by the City of Houston code enforcement department further risking and tying up our investment in this property.

Several contractors and our financial partner have inspected and verified the shoddy workmanship performed on virtually every phase of repairs at as substandard. Most of the repairs performed by Alliance 7 Inc. or Anthony Ray Pettit must be completely redone at my expense.

We tried to do out due dilligence, but when the crook is a professional, he is ususally a step ahead of you.
