I took my daughter's Toyota Yaris to the dealership to replace a tire and intstall a plastic protector on the rear bumper. After 3 hours in the waiting room, I noticed that the plastic protector was installed crooked. I was charged $39.95 to install ( I supplied the protector). Jeanne explained to me that the Body Shop would have to remove it and that she would call me when a new one that she would order would be in.

I waited 3 weeks and decided that I would just get my money back for the install. I called Jeanne and left 2 voice messages on her machine. After waiting another week or so, I called and asked to speak to someone else. Jeanne came on the phone and told me that she had already taken care of it and I now had a "credit" at the dealership. She was very rude as if I was stupid to even call her back. I explained that she never called me to tell me that she was "taking" care of it and why would she assume that I would want a credit at a dealership that can't return a simple call.

I was then put through to Dave the Service Manager ( that is what he told me, I have no way of checking) and to ask that my money be returned instead of the credit. He assured me he would take care of it. I waited a week and called him back. He said he handed it off to someone else and was surprised that no one had contacted me.

I then spoke with Eric ( the Customer Service Manager--his words, again I have no way to check) and he ASSURED me that he would personally walk the paperwork through and watch while the check was processed and then personnaly put in the mail.

It has been 1 1/2 weeks and I live one town away. I called today and left a voice mail on Eric's phone. I also left a voice message on Bob's ( General Manager????) phone.
No calls and no check!!

You can 'Google' the three words SEXUAL HARASSMENT TOYOTA and read about the $190 Million Lawsuit that was filed against Toyota by a Female Employee!

You can also 'Google' the two words ENGINE SLUDGE and read about all of the innocent people who Toyota has left out in the dark!

You can go to www.9news.com and type in the name ORNELAS and search the story that made the Front Page of the Denver Post on 5-19-2005 and watch the VIDEO that made the 10 o'clock News on the #1 Most Watched News Station in Colorado, 9News!! 9 News Cares!!

He probably won't respond but there are MANY people sending him LETTERS right now and someone from Toyota will at least let him know that people are fed up with TOYOTA. When 'we the people' finally move Toyota's stock down to $75 -$85, where it should be, maybe he'll start LISTENING to us. After all, we are the customers and ex-Top Salespeople!

He's probably too busy cashing in all of his stock and having a big vault made at his mansion to put it in. Or maybe he is SCUBA diving at the Palancar Reef down in Cozumel. (he likes to SCUBA!)

I hope you get your money back soon. Maybe that $39.95 will buy a full share of Toyota stock next year, who knows!
