I ordered a book and had it sent to my address as expedited shipping to ensure delivery before my MBA classes started. I received it about 4 days after the "latest" day that it was supposed to arrive. The book was sent to me via regular USPS. When I opened the packaging, I recognized the book was also in a "UPS express pak" that it was supposed to be sent in. So, pretty much, they put the book in the UPS express pak, and then inside of the regular USPS envelope to be sent to me at regular speed when I paid for faster service. And no one responds to refund me my shipping cost!
