 In January i answered an ad on craigslist for a laborer.. Spoke with Mike Duvall Of Apex Restoration Dki ..upon speaking for a Few mins. Mr.Duvall text me the address Where the job was located. It consisted of gutting a fire damaged house that had been sitting for almost a yr. I was the first to arrive and mr. Duvall told me that i would supervise other Loborers that were suppose to show..... after approx. 1-1/2 hours other laborers Started showing. At which time mr.duvall left to go get gloves.... should be noted that No ppe(personal protection equipt) was never distributed.also should be noted that there was black mold thru-out this home... the owner whom ive spoken too was pesent While i was there....Within 2hrs a total of 10 people including myself was there working.... at 12:30-1:00pm.i took lunch... then five of tbe workers went to lunch together that didn't Return until around 2:30pm.which mr. Duvall said nothing... around 3:40 i tried to approach Duvall whom waved me off while he spoke on the phone... after he was done we spoke about Getting paid at which time he said we would be paid by check from tn. Home office..... After leaving i called mr. Duvall and told him i would be back and was told thats fine. I asked about when i could expect to get paid... since he didnt know my name.....( i have all text concerning My complaint. Mr.duvall among other things said i must be one broke mother fer To be worried about 50.00... i then called leeman ferry location to speak to someone else whom saidthat he spoke to mike and he said they didnt pay me because of sub standard workk.. I told him that the owner was present when i was the only one working....... At which time i decided id have to wait until i found out the owners name ...which Mr.duvall wouldnt give me........finally 4 months later.i aquired the name from another worker who was at the house that i was working at......called spoke to receptionist.. said she would let Greg know....He was on vacation...........
