After all their bluff and bluster, they've been accused by the SEC of securities violations, etcetera.

Aschere Energy values its reputation for integrity.  We trust that anyone interested in fair and accurate information about Aschere Energy will consider the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate and inaccurate complaint (contained in Ripoff Report: #1024882) and we wish to clarify the subsequent points as follows:  

First and foremost, Dale Lindsey did not and does not work for Aschere Energy. 

Second, the complaint was made by Tiffany Sterge—who was not and is not a client of Aschere Energy.  She has never done business with Aschere Energy.  We have since contacted Mrs. Sterge and informed her that Dale Lindsey did not work for Aschere and that, needless to say, Aschere does not condone nor appreciate any purported abrasive or abusive communications with anyone.  We also informed Mrs. Sterge that her statements regarding Aschere’s business were false.  It was our understanding after discussing the matter, that these misrepresentations would be corrected or withdrawn within her complaint with Ripoff Report.  Aschere appreciated her agreement with our simple and reasonable request. 

Third, unfortunately, Ripoff Report is essentially a blog “by consumers for consumers” does not independently verify postings and will not remove any complaint—even if false and even if requested by the person who made the complaint.  Ripoff Report will post a report even if it is not true—and will not remove it.  According to Ripoff Report, “we are not in a position to judge the credibility and truthfulness of the 600,000+ reports and the many millions of other comments posted on our site.”  Indeed, Ripoff Report provides that “we will not agree to remove reports upon request, even if someone can show that a report is probably inaccurate.”  Ripoff Report maintains that under the Federal Communications Decency Act, 47 U.S.C. § 230, it is not legally considered the “publisher or speaker” of any false information posted and, therefore, is “not liable for reports even if they contain false or inaccurate information.”  While Aschere appreciates the free flow of accurate information, such laws intended to promote freedom of speech can clearly harm legitimate businesses that are subjected to false complaints.

Fourth, as stated, Mrs. Sterge has never done business with Aschere.  Her statement that “I looked this company up and it appears that they try to scam people into buying into their oil and gas drilling programs.  Beware, most of these are scams.  They take your money and you don't make a dime!” is certainly unfounded and inflammatory.  These statements appear to have been made with the deliberate and willful intent and design simply to cause harm and needless damage to Aschere’s reputation. Aschere Energy management has over twenty years of experience and expertise in certain unique energy investment opportunities.  We strive to be the energy company most admired for its people, partnership and performance designed to create lasting value through risk management, tax protection and diversification into income producing assets.
