I WAS WONDERING WHO THIS ASK-NET SHOPS WERE THAT HAD CHARGED MY ACCOUNT 57.10 PLUS $1.71 INTERNATIONAL FEES WHEN I REALIZED THAT THEY HAVE BEEN DOING THIS TO OTHER CREDIT CARDS.


I HAVE FILED A REPORT AND WILL CANCEL THAT CARD BUT SUGGEST ANYONE BE CAREFUL AND CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS!

Easy for Asknet-shops to avoid ripoff reports...

Today I had a similar experience to most of the others that have filed reports on Asknet-shop.com. I noticed a payment to Asknet, which to me was totally unknown, went to my friend google who directed me to Asknet's homepage. None the wiser I returned to google, and ended up here. Reading the reports made me check out if there had been any software updates or purchases in the household at the time before filing my own report. My husband could then tell me that the amount and time fitted with a software-purchase he made at steinberg.de. Same old story it seems...

Asknet has rebuted a couple of the reports, so they're aware of the problem. What I don't understand is why Asknet don't do the obvious and just make sure that the company they handle the payment for is easily identified in their payment claim...
Also, in their rebuts they tell people to contact paymentservice@asknet.de or get information at asknet.de to clearify any unknown charges. Wouldn't it then be just common sence that the charge came from the same address as their so called paymentservice..? Unless they for some reason want to make it difficult for people to contact them... I don't know, but something smells, and it ain't the roses..!

asknet, Inc. handles the payment orders for a multitude of on-line shops who have contracted their payment collection services with our company.  asknet's Customer Service department is available to assist any customer who experiences a billing, shipping or receipt issue with a product that they have purchased through one of our customer's on-line shop.
