1. ASP POOL CO Boca Raton did not complete their contractual work. Before the job was even completed, they had staining and scaling in the pool (Documented 1/13/22 where stains took place, whereas they claimed they finished the work 1/2022 in writing). Would not pay for their negligence. They also created leaks. 

2. ASP POOL company would not supply any product receipts or licensed contractors or information on product to uphold product warantee, only one contract . They stated they "threw out all paperwork" for the pumps, heaters and said they did this  because they are environmentalists? We cannot print out seriel numbers of items they installed, like our pool light, skimmer, etc that we cannot see. Asking someone to go on a scavenger hunt is not professional, and thus far we were told by manufacturers to make sure our equipment was not purchased used, and our installers licensed ASP cannot provide this.

3. The pool leaks to the point its an emergency leak, and according to their authorized pool service company. The leak is in need of an emergency and they will not even come to evaluate it. We paid $350 for a third party report on our own, and Marcus contacted our workers for their expert advice, asking for emails and readings of the findings to help him understand the leaks. In addition, he used the information against the company,  challenging their expertise and licensing.  Eight days after we informed ASP of the leak, and provided documentation, he still has not gone on property. One report even shows the newly installed (last week) jet has a major leak. In addition, he claims the leaks were "probably there before we did the work".  No, they were not, and contacting other experts in the field, they said pool companies usually do a leak detection before and after doing a job to provide professional documents. ASP POOLS did neither, and then used our experts to learn. 





4. Marcus sent an email yesterday saying we should pay $450 to contract with another expert that he likes so that he can stand behind his waranttee. Still not on property to view his work. 

5. ASP POOLS has emailed us blaming us for personal health issues, made slanderous comments to our experts about their judgement of us, and done everything but maintain the warrantee and stick to a professional platform honoring the contract. When we asked Marcus to review his work he brought his wife, asking that we go over the areas of concern, and when we tried to maintain professionalism just listing areas of concern in a walk through, Marcus turned to his wife and said, "See she is never happy, you can never make her happy". I turned and said "screw this, I will list it in an email", which I did. Unfortunately, this company is not capable of delivering without personal attacks.

6. Marcus's workers broke my coping, created a wall that made my waterfall only flow from two areas instead of straight across, and created leaks around the pool, which now does not hold water, name a few. Rather than Marcus fixing these issues, he spent time explaining how I could work around them. For example, he suggested I find a water setting pressure that would spread the water flow and mark it on the valve. He recommended I live with the broken coping or go find coping myself. He left the light out of the pool for a month, then stated he never worked behind the light when he put it back (images show differently).

7. ASP POOL CO is a franchise, whereas the franchise heads, Jimmie Meece and Casey Sloan defer all issues to only that location as the resolution center. Choose a franchise carefully! 

I noticed ASP POOL CO has great reviews, and I also can state that the reviews are relating to their outsourced pool Maintanence company, and not their construction services. I have to completely agree with this, they recommended Water Jordan for pool servicing, and they are experts! 

I hope this review will help others carefully evaluate the pool company they choose.
