I have received the card in the mail and I haven't even activated it yet and i'm being billed for 179.00 plus 20.00 for activatin. I haven't activated it yet. but the papers it came with claims i'm not responsible for anything unless I activate it... why am I getting billed for it then? This company should go down for taking advantage of people like us to try to build credit and can't because of compines like this. I want something done, 1 company did this to me, i'm not gonna let another one do it to me.

If I hadn't chanced upon this site I would never have known about the bad history of aspire credit cards.

I am so glad I happened upon this site because I too have an aspire visa credit card and am now going to pay off the balance immediately and close the account.

I only hope that in closing this account I won't go through what so many others have gone through in doing the same thing.
