Astar had a rebate of $100 for a 27" LCD TV through MacMall in March of 2007. I Purchased the TV and waited for my rebate. After 8 weeks, as per the rebate form, I emailed the company to ask for a status, but I was ignored. I tried again two more times, and was ignored. I then asked MacMall to look into it and they took 2 more weeks, and then said it was denied and had no reasons.
I have continued to contact Astar and they will not talk to me at all about my rebate. I have a phone number for them now and they will not send me to a rebate person. I asked for customer relations and was hung up on.
Stay away if you expect to get a rebate from them.
