First of all, it took me forever to get someone to call me back. That should have been my first clue. They do not answer their phones; calls go directly to voice mail and then they call you back.

Their fee for a comprehensive consultation is $310 which, when I called, was told it included testing. I thought that was high so I told Mr. John Richardson what my previous Naturopathic Doctor visits included, which was muscle testing, blood/urine/saliva testing, weight, oxygen and blood pressure testing. He told me they do that AND hair, saliva and skin analysis. We went back and forth on appointment times because he said he needed a nurse there to do the testing, but finally said that Dr. William Richardson, his brother, "could do the testing since he is an ER doctor."

Upon arriving at their nasty, crampled, hole-in-the-wall office, Dr. William E. Richardson reviewed my medical history, looked into my eyes, ears and throat with a light, listened to my lungs, pressed on my abdomen, discussed my sleeping position, had me extend my arms and then pressed down on them, then asked me to close my eyes and touch my nose with alternating hands, and finally, watch his finger as he moved it in front of my face. He commented that my cerebrum works and I would need to meet with his brother next.

I was placed in a small closet-sized space to wait for Mr. John Richardson, who came in, advised me he was in a rush but wanted to discuss the additional costs of the tests. What I described above cost $310!!! I left there sicker than when I arrived.

When I asked about fees, Mr. John Richardson failed to disclose that the initial visit (which they term a comprehensive office visit) is nothing more than a consultation. I do not understand why it was such an issue to try and schedule my appointment around the availability of a nurse, when no tests were administered.

Furthermore, their office made me think of what an abortion clinic must have looked like back in the day before it was legal. They had a freakin' rubber chicken hanging on the wall in the examining room. I took a photo with my cell phone.

I don't know if they treat all of their patients they way they treated me, but BEWARE!! I was totally RIPPED OFF!!

Update and Upgrades for ACPM

AUTHOR: ACPM - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, August 13, 2015

Greetings Victoria B and everyone who has read the report.  American Clinics for Preventive Medicine is pleased to share that we moved into a larger location at 1343 Terrell Mill Road, Suite 100 in Marietta, GA 30067.  It has a spacious, professional and inviting atmosphere in order to accommodate all of our clients.

Dr. William Richardson is the Medical Director for ACPM; however, Mr. John Richardson is no longer managing the clinic or works for the clinic in any capacity.  The new Office Manager provides professional medical staffing every day that the office is open in order to greet clients, complete lab work and other related duties.  ACPM offers competitive, market rate billing practices and medical insurance is filed for many different insurance companies.

The current Office Manager provides a detailed estimate for cost of services before the exam begins.  ACPM works hard to request medical records from previous providers to avoid charging for labs and procedures which were completed within 60-90 days.

Dr. Richardson has compassion for all life and is an advocate of a plant-based diet.  The rubber chicken was used as a visual aid to encourage clients to eliminate meat from their diet.

We invite everyone to check out the new website at acpm.net and watch the videos offering a tour of the new location by clicking on the following link:  youtu.be/5HzO-OW3GQY

The clinic is open Monday-Thursday and Saturday from 8:30am to 4pm.  Fridays are reserved for administrative days and staff training.

  • Phone lines open at 9:00 am Monday – Thursday and Saturday.
  • Phone lines close at 3:30 pm Monday – Thursday and Saturday.

A professional answering service will take calls and send electronic messages through an email to ensure each client receives a call back within 24 hours.

We look forward to providing alternative medical treatment options, such as  nutritional infusion therapy, high dose Vitamin C infusions, primary prevention exams, alternative complimentary cancer therapies, detoxification programs, massage therapy, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, heart disease reversal alternatives, modern medicine, chelation therapy, lectures and raw food/cooking classes to name a few.

We wish you the best health!
