Avoid this company if you care for your dignity and standards to be treated as Brand Amabassador (BA) or Marketing Manager (MM or OSM on-site manager), and not be treated like $9 minimum wage employees, because they and some client seems to think you are. AND that's wrong. There is an industry standard to what you are expected to do and perform for a certain pay rate.. But either the client is cheap or that ATN takes a huge 50% chunk of what client pays you. KNOW that they DON'T pay your 30 min breaks. I assumed they are paid because I've never NOT have it not paid. This company seems to underpay the industry standards, and one that is only interested in the Client’s needs and will throw you to the wolves and expect you to perform at your best regardless of the condition, OR just throw you out, even if you are in the right, and they know it, speaking from personal experience) I have worked with this agency for months in 2015 as tradeshow BA and it was ok, all good until one experience in San Diego that showed their true colors and left a bad taste and more picky and wise about the agency I choose. My experience experience of this company has been good until then. Now it's one of those AVOID AVOID like the plague. I have worked as their on-site manager, BA for multiple times, tradeshow, different events and locations.

The problem you will see is how they treat you when The client's employee (their store manager) decided to break some working conditions and rules, and making you do chores that they or their employees should be doing instead. The client in question is ALDI, whose questionable labor practices is German, not American, California compliant. I should've known better to avoid a store location that is near to Wal-Mart. But I was booked working all week so I didn't have time to check out the location before I start. The manager at the SD location did not answer when I called so I just left message. ATN had this micro management style that is annoying actually now that I thought about it. They don't seem to understand that you're busy working other events too to babysit other BA that are irresponsible or a cting like divas.. or think you are unemployed and sitting around waiting. That may be the case for some, but not me. Also since quitting them and cutting them out of my agency list to work for, I've have much more company and clients and agencies that actually pays $25 plus rates, respects and appreciates me. My time with ATN was actually hurting my chances at other promotions, it blocked out my availability to other, better paying Clients, Events.

I'm very hard working BA, Market Manager and I know my rights. They hired 4 BAs and one manager when they should have hired 5. Expecting the OSM to do BA's duties as well in such short time and under stressful high intensity conditions and a racist client is a problem asking to happen and I'm glad to be the whistle blower on this. The 2 BAs that showed up were old white women that had attitudes about a young girl being their manager, and took breaks when I didn't tell them they could go and threw off the schedule. The Client were there were white men and this white looking girl thinks our job was including sweeping their floors and doing their trash. Not my experience in other store locations, especially when I see their employees some standing around doing nothing. They have only themselves to blame for the store's failure. It was this incident that alerted me to he hours they weren't paying me and the unpaid lunch hours I thought I was NOT paid.. They ended up paying them, like $300 that they missed. And we parted ways. I cut them off/ thru with them but this voice in my head said I need to share this. So hope it helps you making decisions to join an agency or not. My take is NOT.. Or do so with care. Tread carefully.
