Why would they sell us a product they knew they would be incapable of delivering?


We have been overcharged for a couple of years by ATT. We were paying for 1.5 DSL and have been having problems since installation. We have received a few new modems but no one ever determined what the reason was for slow/frequently dropped Internet access. About 2 weeks ago we got so irritated we finally decided to figure out if it was actually fixable.


A service agent finally told us were 21,500 feet from the office and 1.5 doesn't have a signal past 18,000 feet and said the only way we could get service was if we downgraded.


We have been receiving dial up speed but paying for DSL for a couple of years.


After calling for about 2 years, you would think someone would have realized this.


We live in a major metro area so this is very strange.


And laughably enough, when were trying to get this straightened out today, someone tried to sell us U-Verse!


I have been dying to trade my BB for an Iphone but would never except this level of service and would not recommend ATT even to an enemy. To top it all off, I am an hour over on my cellphone bill from being on the phone with ATT for 2 weeks! (Every time you call, you get a different rep. who asks you the same 50 questions,and then transfers you to do it all over again. EVERY TIME)

This service issue is still unresolved and we're basically scouting out new services before scrapping this incompetent service all together.
