#1 Consumer Suggestion
Call them!
AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

You can contact IDL at this toll free number to find out why they are charging you:
If you have been billed for services by ILD, and for any reason have not been able to resolve questions to your complete satisfaction, please call 800-637-4009 for immediate assistance
Also, you write that you have a "lifeline" service. My grandmother had a "lifeline" service before she died. Such service is not free and it's possible that IDL is doing the billing for whatever "lifeline" service you have.
I would call them to find out why. You can also call your telephone service provider to find out what's going on. Sometimes, a phone number will appear next to the billing on your telephone bill. If there is a number listed, that's the number to call to find out what's going on.
Good luck.
