So...... The "client" who wrote the following is my all time favorite, "Mr. Shafer certainly wasn't litigating with himself."

Are you kidding me? Mr Shafer is the CAUSE of additional unneccessary litigation. As the adage about saving money for a rainy day goes, when one deals with Shafer get ready......... Because I promise you.... Its raining.

And if God help you, you are not awarded fees........ its really raining hard out.

So, if you are looking to permanently destroy any hope of raising your children in a co parenting civil environment, hire this man. Because when hes done......... the damage personally and financially is so devastating, it will take years for any hope of civility with your ex souse. 

This man is plain and simple........ an additional destructive impediment to the already ugly and painful process of ending a marriage. 

Shafer paid his mother to write this. EVERYONE despises the man.

I used Mr. Shafer in the past.  I read this report and found it be a very misleading.  Mr. Shafer is not cheap I will admit that but you certainly get what you pay for with attorneys.

Since I have seen this very same person post all over the internet when no one else did, I would imagine she was a very difficult person to deal with.  She says Mr. Shafer wanted revenge.   Interestingly enough, revenge seems to be her goal in life or she wouldn't have spent hours going after him on every web page possible.  I imagine her ex-husband got the same treatment.

Another thought, if you don't pay your bill to a doctor, hospital, credit card company, etc., they do lien your house.  Why would you possibly think a lawyer wouldn't be entitled to do the same thing.  

As for the bill, I saw on another website where the bill was supposedly $90k before mediation.  Here its yet another number.  I personally know from experience that it is more the actions of the lawyers and parties ON BOTH SIDES that generate large legal fees.  Mr. Shafer certainly wasn't litigating with himself.

Whomever is writing these fictional comments has had things go wrong that were most likely out of Mr Shafers control, courts dont always rule in favor of a client as they sometimes seem to falsely assume.
