American Appliance in Whitehall, PA, went out of business and a company calling themselves "Asset Recovery Systems" has moved in and are now selling the left over inventory.

Audiofile 830LR speakers are among things on the showroom floor. BUYER BEWARE!!!! These speakers are junk, and the company is shady at best. They offer no refunds, and the items they have for display are not the same items that you receive upon purchase.

The Company I work for Asset Recovery Systems, Inc. Is VERY reputable company. Some speakers with the Audiofile name are sold from truck. NOT OURS. I have personally checked the out. I even Own a pair of 830LR.

I am the author of 8 Best Selling books on Consumer Video. I have two degrees and I have taught at The Community College of Southern Nevada. 1 have published over 1.3 million copies of my books to help Consumers. I have personally tested each and every batch of Audiofile Speakers that Asset Recovery Systems have used for the last 5 years, and except for a batch in Baltimore, MD in 1997 in with we mistakenly got a batch that was to be sold on trucks, (which we discounted and the consumers WERE informed). that was the only incident.

I have personally investagated the incident at Allentown.

1) The customer WAS offered a refund.

2) The speakers that were represented WERE the same speakers that were in the box, (Except the ones that were demostrated were used).

3) No one from this reporting agency to our knowledge has contacted Asset Recovery to verify the report before posting on the Internet. 4) I highly recommend the Audiofile speakers that Asset Recovery Systems sell.

Sincerely;
Dr. Author/Publisher
