The same day I wrote this report my husband and I decided to once again pray about our situation. This time however, we decided we would not operate in "bitterness" and "anger" but that we would approach things from a different standpoint.

For 45 minutes we dedicated ourselves to upholding some important principles that are Biblical when dealing with "enemies". In Luke 6:27 Jesus is quoted as saying "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,.." and in Luke 6:35 He said "But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked."

We prayed for those handling our case at Aurora and asked for them to be blessed as they deliberated over our file. We asked for them to be blessed in their personal life and in their business practices knowing that sometimes the workers are unjustly characterized by the practices of the business owners and company itself. We asked for our case to be considered fairly by those handling our file.

Today we were notified that our short sale offer has been approved AND at $15,000.00 LESS than Aurora was asking for!!!

We are thankful to those individuals who worked on our file and helped us to remain in our home. While we are disheartened by the unfortunate customer service and treatment of customers by Aurora as a whole, we are pleased with the individual workers and decision makers who made it possible for our offer to be approved as of today.

We continue to believe in the Biblical principles set down for us to follow and this is just ONE of many testimonies we have of following those principles and seeing favor from The Lord in our lives and those we have influence over.
