Inept, unethical and untrustworthy company. Long story. Applied forced insurance to our mortgage although illegal in Minnesota and although informed them multiple times of our VALID insurance coverage. Then said we were late because they applied our payments to forced coverage.

Mailed us a letter May 1 stating we were not late and would remove from all credit bureaus. Sep 19th now and bureas contacted and Aurora would not state we were never late even though they clearly wrote and signed a letter May 1 stating we are not late - also sent to Minnesota Attorney General.

I am STRONGLY considering a class action lawsuit. I am not an attorney just a consumer.

Ripoff Aurora Loan Services

AUTHOR: Milly - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 06, 2008

I have a mortgage with this company. I contacted them before I fell behind on my payments. They told me to submit papers to modify my loan. I sent the papers in and called once a week. I kept getting the run around ,then I was told my papers were lost. During this time, I did fall more behind in my mortgage. Then I was told that I did not qualify. When I went to send in my payment, they told me to hold off because I may qualify for a differnt loan. I faxed the papers back and called a few days later and they said I had to send in bank statements and proof of income. A few days after I sent in some of the papers they request, I got a phone call asking for payment. I told them, I just faxed some of the requested documents in and that does not sound correct. They said I agreed to these payments . I told him that I did not agree to these payments. They have given me four days to make this payment. They said I would have to make three payments and then the bank may modify my loan. I did not have any problems with my other mortgage co. My loan was sold off.

Great Help!

AUTHOR: Lesa - (U.S.A.)

The website of loansafe.org can be really helpful to all of you. The education on this site is amazing and the advice to all homeowners is invaluable. Do not waste time and seek professional advice now. I am a victim of a mortgage servicer and everyone associated with my loan and this site has so much information and help. They are not lawyers but possibly can help you with referrals. Way to go--fight back.

Interested in Class Action

AUTHOR: Renee - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 22, 2008

We need a meeting place, perhaps a chat room to collect information for a class action. It sounds like Aurora is getting a lot of mileage out of over charging on these escrows (earning interest on the money) and not giving a damh about the people they are shoving off of a cliff financially. I don't know how to create a blog. Anyone have any ideas?

AUTHOR: Denise - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 01, 2008

I have different issues concerning this company but I have been searching all over for existin lawsuits or people interested in pursuing one. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I do not know how a company that is so unethical can remain open.. They do not correct there errors and I think they are pocketing alot of money from extra fees and penalties among other things. My report is also on this page if you are interested in reading what they did to me I am From New London . Please contact me if you find any info on a lawsuit. Thank You

they tried to force the insurance with me too

AUTHOR: Wendi - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, February 17, 2008

I had adequate insurance as well, and after 4 months of calls and faxes from my insurance provider they finally left me alone. I have described the situation more in detail in a response to someone elses complaint in the pages preceding this one. They sent me very threatening letters to impose forced insurance despite the faxes from my insurance company and their own customer service people told me each time I called that they had the proof and the dates it was stated there was proof. But the letters kept coming. The last guy told me, oh, we didn't get the proof until Nov. 10, but the fourth letter was dated Nov.21st and that was the fourth call stating they had proof. I asked him, tell me how this makes sense, are you listening to yourself, you got proof on the 10th, but this letter is dated the 21st. This is 4 months of this, it has got to stop. Luckily for me it did. I sympathize with you.
