I hired Authorized Cleaning Service to clean stairs in my house in June of 2006. The home was built in 2005 and had minimal stains on the carpeting. They did their job and I allowed several hours for the stairs to properly dry without walking on them as much as possible and never with shoes. A few weeks passed and it was as if the stains reappeared in the same locations and almost spread or worsened. I called to display my concern and was handled with disgust. They offered to send a discounted service and explained that by "deep cleaning" they would reach the pads and allow a large fan to blow dry these steps so they would no longer be stained. They also charged me for a scotchguard protectant and assured me that this whole process would remove the stains and they would not come back. They performed the service July of 2006.

I paid for this service after such a guarantee and the extra "scotchguard protectant" only to have the stains reappear a few weeks later. Now this was the second time I had been ripped off by this company and I called once again and was given the run-around by several employees. For months I tried to get someone on the phone who would seriously listen to my complaint. I had called on a weekly basis, different times different hours trying to get someone to solve my problem. Each time I was brushed off as if my business wasn't worthwhile. Finally after finding out what the manager's name was they spoke to me. I had to repeatedly call and ask for Shawn to handle my complaints in any way, shape or form. When I did finally get the courtesy of a conversation with him it was November, and according to the owner too late for a refund.

When I explained that I had been calling for months and unable to get anyone even remotely interested in helping me I was told I could get air duct cleaning service, or another carpet cleaning. I replied I DO NOT wish to do business with your company and would just like a refund for services that were not done in a satisfactory manner. Which of course was not granted and leads to my complaint 5 months later.
