Auto Express Of Fredericksburg RIPOFF; no title to my car; no records of payments I made Fredericksburg Virginia

I purchased a car from this company in November 2003. I signed loan papers indicating that I start making monthly payments of $401 in December 2003. The car broke down a week after I purchase the vehicle and I had to put it in the shop. I called the dealership and I spoke to the manager. He said that he was going to waive the first payment since I had to pay for the repairs. Meanwhile, the dealership kept calling me asking me if I was still interested in getting a car from them. I explained to them that I had purchased a car from them, in fact, a Mr. Gary was the sales person. After a month of these calls, I finally told the dealership that I wasn't interested in purchasing a vehicle from them (knowing that I had all ready purchase a car from them). The calls stopped. I sent in my last payment to the dealership in November 2004. I have never received my title from them. I didn't know the protoccol as to how I was to obtain my title from them so I just assume that I would have to go to DMV and request it myself. I called DMV and they informed that the dealership had placed a lien on the car and I couldn't get the title until Auto Express notify them that the car was paid for....so I called Auto Express and they told me that they told that they didn't have no record of them selling me a car...so how did they place a lien on it? A few weeks went by and I called them back....I was told that they didn't have any records of me sending the payments (I didn't keep the money order receipts after I moved so I didn't have any proof that I paid the car off). So now I stuck with a car with a bad transmission and I can't get a loan because I don't have the title!! Where did my money go? If the dealership do have records of me purchasing a vehicle from them.....why didn't they contact me about not receiving the payments?
