The true facts about Auto Gallery in Lwes DE

AUTHOR: Bryan Hecksher - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 15, 2017

Hello,

My name is Bryan Hecksher the owner of the Auto Gallery in Lewes Delaware. Please feel free to look us up on other web sites such as the Better Business Bureau. I pride our dealership in being very relaxed and make buying a vehicle a very relaxed and easy experience. I have never been reported to a website like this in ten years. The dealership gives EVERY customer a copy of their paperwork, when this customer came back we gave her a second copy of all the papers that we gave her before. To adress the recall issue with this vehicle, we offered to take the vehicle to the closest Mitubishi dealer that is 86 miles away and provide Angela with a loaner car during the repair, one of my staff was going to wait and take the vehicle back to her work, so she would not be inconvienced. I had the appointment set up for weeks, she canceled the day before the appointment.  When she first purchased the car, I had to get a new bank Westlake financial to help her get approved  for the vehicle. I offered to let Angela take the vehicle to any mechanic that she wanted to before the purchase, she did not do it. When I tried to speak to her about the situation the first thing she did was to tell me she has contacted the Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau and the Auction where I purchased the car from. I have never received a letter or a phone call from any agency. She sent me numberous texts and told me she was getting the top done at a local repair shop. Well she then started to state the same claims on social media about me and my dealership. She is a local hair stylist who also has stated the same things to mutual clients. She is accurate about my dog Miles being up on the desk at times, but I am not switching paper work as she claimed. Take a minute to think about that, she just signed papers with her name on it, they all would have her signature. I do not ACT as a community activist, I do believe in supporting all of our community. I have a food drive every year to beat LOCAL hunger, I support the local chapter of Meals on wheels, the local SPCA, local dog rescues, local little leagues, local atheletes and local LGBT groups becuse I believe that EVERYONE should be treated kind and fair. I and my dealership have donated three vehicles over the 10 years in business, one to a local dog rescue, one to a local food bank and one to help homless veterans get back on their feet. To repsond to the remark that I only sell "as is" cars, I sell vehicles with as low as 200 miles on them with full factory warranty. I also sell extended warranties and GAP insurance, but as part of her approval with Westlake financial, I could not offer and extended warranty. To say my cars are overpriced, most of my vehicles are priced under NADA retail. You may look up my website at www.autogalleryofde.com and I will let you be the judge. You may google my name Bryan Hecksher becuse I have nothing to hide in over 30 years of being in the car business I have never been on a site like this.  Angela was well aware at time of purchase that I sold the vehicle under cost to help her, she also knows the bank set the interest rate, I do not make anything from the rate, she stated to me that I make 5% that is inaccurate as most of the account of her purchase of the Mitsubishi Eclipse. I did stop by her work as a gentleman to try to ask her to remove this post and I was called every name in the book and later was contacted by the Delaware state police to asked if I harrased and thratened her. I can honestly say even after all of this I wish her well, I hope she finds the happiness she is looking for, but this also made me realize that no matter how hard my staff and I strive to make this dealership the best place on the East Coast to by a vehicle that you just can never please some people. In closing I would like to say My staff and I will continue to earn people's respect and their business. I can also provide any signed documents you need to show that EVERYTHING was done with integrity, pride and  well above the state laws for a used car purchase. My dad had a saying " You could give someone a hundred dollar bill and they are so unhappy they would complain that is is wrinkled." I understand that saying as I get older. The local people here in Delaware refer al lot of customers here. Angela forgot to mention we sold her daughter a car, her brother in law several cars and even her own clients that she styles their hair and ALL OF THEM have no compliants with the Auto Gallery. I know this is a long read, but I hope it does show the sincerity, compliance and pride that we take in each and every vehicle we sell.

What FTC rules have they violated?

AUTHOR: coast - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 08, 2017

Auto dealers are not required to address open safety recalls on used vehicles. They are not required to sell vehicles at or below market value. They are not required to offer a warranty, gap insurance or service records.

They may be required to disclose the dry rotted roof if they were aware of it. Can you prove the dealer was aware of it?

Now tell us, specifically, what FTC rules have they violated?

"As Is" Means As Is

If you did not receive or buy a warranty, there is ZERO warranty coverage! If YOU saw the dry rot of the top but YOU moved forward with the sale of an AS IS car, then it's obvious...you chose to buy a car with known problems you observed!
