I believe that I also am a victim of Auto Marine Systems (see other report on this site).

I received a bid to move a sailboat from Virginia to the state of Washington from Auto Marine Systems. The man I talked to was Franklin. He initially said his company moved 1,200 boats a year, and that he could move my boat within a week. When the time for the move came close, he requested a deposit of $976.50 "to get the needed permits from each state." I overnighted him a check on Aug. 12, which he cashed a few days later. Since then, he has not returned phone calls or replied to e-mails. I have left messages to return my money, and to cancel the deal. I have received no reply.

By the way, he said his company was changing its name to Yacht In Sea. Both names, Yacht in Sea, and Auto Marine Sys appear on the back of the cashed check.
