This company installed one of the air conditioners in the house. I called requesting a service for the air conditioner that broke. I was promised that a technition will come over between 3pm to 5pm the same day. Nobody showed up, never called, didn't return my calls.

Avalanche Heating and Cooling

I have done business with Avalanche for over 5 years. They installed my heating and cooling system and also a hot water heater. I can only say I am extremely satisfied with the service from this company and owner. My system had a problem and I had the best system installed made by Rheem. The motherboard on it went and had to be programmed in another state. Lenny was calling daily with updates. He also told us to go out and buy window air conditioners and he would reimburse us. Everything he told us was true including the reprogramming of the system.
All I can say is that I am very happy with Avalanche and the service provided by the employees and Lenny. Lenny gave me his cell phone to call if I had any concerns.
Thank you Avalanche for taking care of all of my heating and cooling needs, and for being there when I call.

I just had this HVAC company service my heater a few days ago and they did an excellent job. Thankfully, I have a neighbor who recommended these guys to work on my heat problem because the other two estimates I received from the other two companies in the area were outrageously more expensive then what I ended up paying.
Now, in regards to the report on this company apparently written by their customer ... or their customer wanna be...
Let's read this together: even if this company did not show up as this lady claims, think to yourself: how many people you personally know who would go as far as putting an actual person's name on the rip-off-report.com? Hopefully not many at all because I would think that you have to be a complete a*****e to do something like that! Realize that now whenever someone is looking for the gentleman that she named here the name of this website will come up. Don't laugh, I just checked and it certainly came up, as a matter of fact it was the very top listing when I did it. I don't know about you but if I ever saw that before meeting that person I would not like that and as most of us nowdays have no time for trashy soap operas I would not go as far as reading the company's rebuttal.
We need more people on the internet with integrity and we definitely do not need these non-productive, unfair and certainly malicious comments about working people who are trying to keep the economy going, now more then ever.
Once again, that's just my opinion. So if you agree, then next time you need help with heating or air-conditioning remember this company and don't forget your humble servant who is a very happy customer of theirs.

In response to the report made by our client Mrs Luba Slepoy, Please be advised that complaint earlier submited by this client is completly false. We did however installed air conditioning system in Mrs Slepoy residence aproximatly 4 years ago which had 1(one) year warranty for all parts and labor . This system was installed professionaly and had been operational throughout hot months of summer.We recived first service call request 2 years after the system had been installed with the warranty allready expired . Our technician responded immidiatly to make nessesery repairs to the A/C unit despite the expired warranty with no cost to the client . Our technician concluded that since preventive maintanance (recommended by Avalanche) had never been accomplished it caused the malfunction of the system .We had explained to Mrs Slepoy that such maintanance is nesesery to avoid future proplems with A/C unit. Mrs Slepoy made another request for service a year later on 06/04/2005 and we did scheduled a service technician to once again investigate the proplem. Because of the overwhelming amount of service calls our technician arived 1 hour late from the scheduled time of the appointment only to find out that there is nobody in the house . After speaking to Mrs Slepoy , she had explained that since our technician was late she made other arrangement with out even notifying our office. We at Avalanche take a lot of pride in our outstanding workmenship and dependability . We provide a long term comitment to our clients and stand by our work even outside the warranty agreements. Howerever we accept to recive respect for such comitment instead of beeing taken advantage of by unappreciative and irresponsible clients like Mrs Slepoy.
