Well i enrolled at avis contractors school in bellflower and got robbed I enrolled in april 2006 but could not start the program because of work so on may 2, 2006 i wrote avis a letter explaining my reasons for not starting the program and wanted a refund or partial refund since thay did fill out my app. for the state
so i asked for at least 500.00 back mind you i paid 795.00 up front for the program and 250.00 for the state app. and thay siad thay could not do anything for me and for me to sell my program to someone else or give it to someone else
so when i got someone else to buy the program from me thay siad it was to late and to forgat about it. so to end i I just want every one to know that avis is not a place for you to get your contractors's license i feel really wroned by the whole thing but i went to another school and now i have my license , I guess success is the best revenge . thank's for the time stay up. god bless.

Carlos enrolled in the school and was issued all the books and study material. He was allowed to do practice exams and he did complete his program. After we processed his application to the Contractors state license board he filed in small claims court for a refund. at that hearing which was the day befor he was scheduled to take the state exam we were able to prove that we had filled our obligation to him and the fact that he could not show any proof that he had paid any other school to prepare him for the exam the judge ruled that we did not owe him any money. the next day he went to the exam and obviousley with the information that he got from our school was able to pass the examination. it seems that there are people in the world that do not want to pay for what they get and when they do not get their way they seem to want to hurt the one who won. carlos has made this report to mamy agencies and all have turned out the
same way, we did not rip him off, he got the contractors license he came to us for, hope all his customers are paying him for the work he does.
